Montgomery County, PA – This evening, Rep. Madeleine Dean (PA-04) released the following statement following President Biden’s decision to bow out of the 2024 Presidential race:
“President Biden’s lifetime of service is a testament to the most American of ideals — patriotism, democracy, freedom. The country owes President Biden an unpayable debt.
“Tonight, I am thrilled to join President Biden in supporting Vice President Kamala Harris to be the Democratic nominee. Vice President Harris has been instrumental for many of the historic achievements of the administration.
“Vice President Harris is the right person to defeat Trump. She will prosecute the case against the former President and help protect our democracy.
“She will always fight for Pennsylvanians across our Commonwealth, and has the talent, ability, grit, grace, and decency to win this election and lead our nation.”
