Rep. Madeleine Dean, who represents suburban Philadelphia, says the state of Pennsylvania has 3,400 bridges in poor condition and 7,500 miles of highway that need repair.
“Our approach should be what is best for the future of this country. I don’t think this is a Republican matter or a Democratic matter, it’s all of our children’s future.”
“We need this investment,” said Rep. Dean.
